William Haney!

I can't believe that I haven't posted about my sweet, nephew William!  Kellen, my brother, and Jessica had him back in April, and I am the worst blogger, so I am just now showing you a couple pictures!  He's going to be 5 months at the end of this month, and I can't believe it!

Sadly, I didn't get to be there the day he was born, but at least Uncle Kyler got to hold him!

Meeting his Uncle Mate for the first time.

Little owl!  Whoooo!

All Smiles at Kyler and Meagan's wedding!  (I promise I'll post about that too...)

With is Grumps, Poppa, Pappy... Dad doesn't have a name yet...
Just wanted to share my sweet William with y'all!

I'm trying to be a better blogger now that Nathan and I are in a permanent home.  I can't wait to post all about our move and what we are doing these days!

Thanking Jesus everyday!

Moving on....

Nathan and I spent the last night in our first home last night!

That's right folks, we are moving!

We have been incredibly blessed here and have met and grown to love so many people.  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping Midland feel like home!

Midland will always have a special place in my heart because it was home to us our first year of marriage.  We have grown so much in our faith and are excited about where God is taking us!

I promise I will update with everything soon!

Love,
KR

I miss you! :(

I gave up Dr. Pepper (technically all soda, but DP is the only one I care about!) for lent.  I miss it so much.

Those bubbles...
the Caffeine...
ALL OF IT!  AHHHHHHH!

33 more days people, and I will have a big ol' DP in my hands!

Nathan wants me to start drinking them again right now, because last night I almost messed up spaghetti.  Who does that???  I tried to boil the water with the noodles already in it... I'm glad he was there to save dinner!  Haha!

Wow! :)

I didn't post a single thing in the whole month of February!!! Ahh, I'm sorry everyone.  Nathan and I have been so busy running around that I didn't even notice it was March!  February was full of travel.  My mom and I went to Colorado to see KatyAnn and help her with wedding details!  It was freeeeeezing there, but we had so much fun picking out her wedding dress and seeing her venue for the wedding.  She is going to look beautiful in a very beautiful place!  Our puppies fell in love on the trip too.  Look how sweet, they even shared a bone!

On the way home from CO, mom and I had to stay in Amarillo because of snow in the Texas panhandle!  It was the scariest experience, but we made it safely home.  I get to back in April, but I'm going to fly instead of drive...

In February, we also celebrated Nathan's 27th birthday!  He's so OLD!!!!  haha!  I bought made him a buttermilk pie from Albertson's because that is his favorite.  All 27 of those birthday candles were so bright, the pie glowed!  :)  Happy Birthday, honey!

The last weekend in was dedicated to my brother and sister-in-law, and their, soon to be born, baby William!  We had two showers for him, and they were so much fun!  I can't wait to be an Aunt again!

Sisters!
Proud Soon to be Parents and Grandparents!!!  :)

I also got rear-ended in my new (well, new to me!) car... She is ok, just a little dented, and the trunk won't open.  But fear not, she is getting fixed.  Luckily, it was a oil field worker in his work truck, so his company gets to fix it!  :)  Hopefully, I get a cool rental...

March is going to bring some exciting things!  Hopefully, I can keep up this time!

Prayer

Nathan and I have been immensely blessed in out first 9 months of marriage.  We have an amazing support system through our families, a cute, little apartment, a sweet puppy, fun friends and a growing church family.  We have loved our time here and the ups and downs that have come from this new adventure.  Through all of these things, Nathan and I have found we need to be rooted in prayer and quiet time with God.  Every time something new comes our way, we TRY to pray about it, and give it to God.  For control freaks like me, that is very, very hard!

To try to keep us praying and giving our cares to God, Nathan and I have decided to make time for Him every morning.  We went and bought prayer journals, and we want to really get into this prayerful routine.  I wanted to start by praying for Nathan and everything that he deals with on a daily basis.  It just so happens that I was reading Katy's new post from Twenty-Three Oh One, and she talked about praying for her husband.  She recommended this blog, and now I know what I am going to be spending some time praying for this month.  Thanks, Katy!

Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.  1Thess. 5:17-18 NLT

2012 Resolutions!

I recently read something about people and the probability that they will fulfill their resolutions and it didn't look good!  In the same article, the author wrote about having a new resolution every month, and I think that is better for me.  When I make a resolution, I usually forget about it by the end of the month anyway!  haha!

Sooooo.....

For January 2012:
I resolved to do the dishes everyday. (I  haven't been doing very good at this one, but this little plate makes me very thankful for the dirty dishes I have!)

I also resolve to start running again.  It needs to be done people.  My legs are like jello, and I hate it.  Running made me feel so good, and I bought some new shoes a couple weeks ago to make me want to run.  It has helped a little bit... I guess we'll see!
My Shoes!!!!!

The last thing I resolved to work on in January is my sewing!!!!  I want to finish my first project this month.  Which is probably going to be pretty hard for me since I am awful at it right now.  But practice makes perfect, so I'm told.
How cute is she???  I wish I would have learned to sew at this young!

I will keep y'all updated on my progress, and I would love some accountability.... Everybody needs to be held accountable!

I hope you have a blessed week!  Talk to ya soon!
